These include records dating back to founder Peter Cooper's 18th century childhood; the college's 1859 founding in the shadow of the Civil War; over a century and a half of Great Hall events of national import, meetings of New York City organizations big and small, and the development of three distinct schools in Art, Architecture, and Engineering; and 21st century born-digital materials and web sites.
